Friends of the Oakville Public Library Annual General Meeting
The Friends of the Library will hold their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 7 PM in the Auditorium of the Central Library ( 120 Navy Street, Oakville )
There will be a brief business meeting during which the slate of officers for the coming two years will be proposed.
This year we have two speakers: Janice Koullas, Director of Service Planning and Development, Oakville Public Library, and Pearl Ranju, Director of Digital Access and Development, Oakville Public Library, who will present “The Future of the Oakville Library System.”
This will be followed by a reception.
Where/when do you accept book donations.

Book donations can be dropped at the central oakville library almost anytime it is open. You should call ahead to make sure there is someone to accept them. If it is only a bag or two, you probably don’t need to call, but for boxes worth, advance notice is appreciated by the staff.
